    Solstice Reflection

On today, the day of maximum darkness before we again move towards the light, I want to wish you all the best and encourage you to trust yourself and uncertainty in general. With the greater questions of life, being able to hang out in ambiguity is a genuine gift. It keeps us open to what might come, maybe even without effort. We don't always need to make something happen. Trusting more in deeper processes is something contemplation and reflection can teach us. May you trust

New Year ~ Invest in Yourself & Your Community

It's already two weeks into this new year. Have you taken time to reflect? Have you re-connected with what's important to you? Do you know who the people in your life are that nourish you? If you haven't yet done so, take time-out to reflect. Saying Goodbye ~ Loss

I've been grieving. Loss in life is inevitable. Allowing the emotions/feelings that come with losing a loved one or something important to flow naturally, unfortunately is not. As many are now saying, we are hard-wired for connection. With this connection, how could losing a loved one not bring on palpable feelings? So, allow the feelings to come. Don't stifle them or even try to name them. Invite them to flow. They are natural. What can happen with grief is this ~ one loss p

    Taking Time

We recently received feedback from a customer in a review of our book, Motherhood - Is It For Me? Your Step-by-Step Guide to Clarity, that it takes time that the prospective reader didn't have. This really pushed me into the philosophical sphere of considering time and its nature, a very large sphere indeed. I have empathy for this woman. She could be feeling internal pressure to decide right away. She may have very real reasons why taking 12 weeks to decide if being a mother
